Hello! Thanks for visiting my website. If you don't know me already, I'm a freelance photographer specializing in travel and the natural world. I work on an assignment basis and I sell stock photographs, directly and through my agents - Getty Images, The Image Bank, Alamy, Pacific Stock and Viewfinders.

My photos are published in many of the country's leading travel and nature magazines, and in text and trade books from a number of publishers. I also do corporate and advertising work for companies big and small, both directly and through ad agencies and design firms.

|
I'm especially proud of the books I've done for Compass American Guides (part of Fodor's Travel Publications), including their titles for Oregon, Washington, Pacific Northwest, Hawaii and the newly-released Oregon Wine Country and Washington Wine Country.

|
|
|
I also get to say "Award Winning Photography!", since I've received honors from PRINT Magazine, Honolulu Ad Federation, the Society of American Travel Writers, and have twice earned Hawaii Visitors Bureau Travel Journalism Awards.

|
And, I'm a dues-paying, card-carrying member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW), the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), and the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA).

Not quite last, and certainly not least, I'm a husband and father.
Been married mygodwe'renotreallythatoldarewe? 30+ years to the most wonderful woman. We raised two boys who've done us proud and then started over again when we adopted little Nick.
